Summary: When you want the best for your skin
Comment: This is the best day moisturizer I've ever used. I love it for night-time use as well, although I'm devoted to NightAMins. You'll see a difference after one application. Every friend who's tried it, has switched. It does smell a little different, but I prefer that to something with a heavy masking scent added. It could smell a lot worse, and I'd still use it, because my skin looks amazing, and that's what keeps me coming back to Hope in a Jar.

Comment: Well, I flubbed up this time. I came across "Hope In a BOTTLE", not "Jar" and used it. It did MIRACLES for my skin. So, I thought I'd get gutsy and bought Hope In a Jar. Boy, was that mistake. I put in on, and my face turned BEET RED and starting BURNING. My eyes watered, my nose watered. OMG it was horrible. Areas on my face that had a little too much were BLISTERED. Be careful ladies.

Comment: I have been struggling with dry skin and mild acne for years. Recently, I revamped my cleansing routine and my makeup. I bought the Philosphy Purity cleanser and Hope in a Jar. It has made an unbelievable difference in my skin! My skin is smooth, not a dry flake anywhere. It is as soft as a baby's butt.
It is worth noting that a little goes a LONG way. You only need a very small amount (about the size of a dime or less) for your whole face. It is a very light texture, almost like a mousse, and glides over your skin and absorbs quickly. If you use too much (I did the first few times)then your face could look greasy. If you remember that less is more, then you will get a perfectly moisturized, yet matte, complexion.
After using the Philosophy cleanser and Hope in a Jar, I use the Bare Escentuals mineral makeup (bought the Light/Fairly Light starter kit). My skin, for the first time ever, is flawless. No acne. No dry skin. No reddish areas. Just a perfectly smooth complexion. I keep looking in the mirror, thinking "Is this my skin? Really?" I cannot believe what a difference this product (and the mineral makeup) has made.
I have heard of others being allergic to some ingredients in the Hope in a Jar, so it is not for everyone. I suggest getting a sample size to make sure you won't have a reaction.

Comment: I'm in my 30's, light skin, everybody was talking about this product so i decided to give it a try; didn't work for me, after using it for a while I had break outs and my skin became greasy. It's not what they say it is, I've tried many philosophy products the only one that is what they promised is Amazing Grace for your body, but the skin care products are a scam, go for Neutrogena or clinique , good luck
