Customer Rating: Summary: Live Long and Healthy Comment: Flax Seed Oil raises the good cholesterol (HDL). I call it insurance. It is one of the many excellent diet supplements that does not reveal its benefits overnight. The user is not going to take a capsule today and feel or see the result tomorrow. However, when taken over a period of years combined with a healthy diet and exercise(MOST IMPORTANT INGREDIENT), it can produce amazing results. If you love your heart, this is a good place to start. My Cholesterol and Triglyceride levels (395 HDL+LDL and 850) were off the charts 17 years ago. My doctor said I was pumping honey in my veins. My past three annual physicals have produced excellent results in all categories.(150 HDL+LDL and 190) Many years of bad eating habits takes years to reverse the damage, but it can be done. It does take discipline, determination and the right attitude. It might not be easy, but it sure beats the alternative.
Customer Rating: Summary: Replacement for fish oil capsule Comment: This product has higher omega-3 content than standard fish oil capsules and doesn't give that fish oil, after-taste if/when you burp. Now, if they could only put all of the goodness part in a smaller capsule like the 2000 mg soft-gel.
Customer Rating: Summary: Organic Flaxseed Oil Comment: Wonderlabs has yet again proved itself as one of the best websites to offer organic, cold-processed supplements for an amazingly low price, super customer service, and trackable shipping that comes more quickly than I would have ever realized!

1,000 mg Hexane Free, Flax Seed Oil, Essential Fatty Acid Flaxseed oil is unique because it contains two essential fatty acids; alpha-linolenic acid (an omega-3 fatty acid) and linoleic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid) in high amounts. It contains roughly 58 percent alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), considered more than other common vegetable oils. The body can convert ALA into EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), an omega-3 oil found in fish oils. However, because the conversion from ALA to EPA is quite limited, some of the effects of fish oil (such as controlling triglycerides) do not occur when people supplement with flaxseed oil. The best utilization of flaxseed oil is a source of essential fatty acids.
